It doesn’t matter if you use contrast paint, quick shade, instant colour or speed paint. All that matters is your end result. If something looks good, it doesn’t matter how you got there. Many digital artists will tell you of the cheats they do, using semi-transparent layers for shading and other such things. It doesn’t matter…

All that matters is your end result.

Drybrushing and speed paint brought these guys to life, done by a friend of mine. They were done in less than a day. They look great. It doesn’t matter how they did it. All that matter is the end result, not how they got there. It doesn’t matter if you spend 15 hours or 15 minutes. If you get the same result in the same amount of time, take the quicker option.
